Privacy policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Face Value runs a waiting list for its platform. This page explains which personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Face Value is responsible for the processing of personal data described on this page.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list we store your email address, the role you choose (talent, brand or agency), your country and the language you used on this site. Your name and your Instagram handle, company or agency name are optional.

We also store the moment you gave consent and the version of the consent text.

To protect the form against abuse we briefly process your IP address and a one-way hash of your email address for rate limiting. We do not store these in the waiting list.

Why we use it

We use your details to manage the waiting list and to contact you when your access is ready. That is the only purpose. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis

We process your details on the basis of your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect the processing that took place before.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies. We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not track you across websites or build a profile of you.

Who processes your data for us

We use these processors: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (database, hosted in the EU), Resend (sending email) and Upstash (rate limiting). We have processing agreements with them or rely on their standard data processing terms.

If a processor handles data outside the European Economic Area, this is only done with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your waiting list details until you ask us to remove them, or until we have finished inviting people from the waiting list and no longer need them. Rate limiting data is kept for at most one day.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and transfer your data, and to object to its processing. You can also withdraw your consent. We answer requests within 30 days.

If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
